Splash conducts free Basic Computer Education
It was a four day full of fun and learning for fourteen (14) public school teachers from Canumay West Elementary School on Teacher’s Training for Basic Computer Education last May 9, 15, 24 and 31.
On its 2nd year, SPLASH FOUNDATION, INC. continues to conduct free training on MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint and Internet.
The teachers found most of the programs beneficial especially in preparing their lesson plans and making power point presentations. What was exciting was their experience in browsing through the internet, making their own email addresses and sending emails.
Volunteer speakers are employees from Splash Corporation who shared their time and effort; Belina Nelia M. Sta.Romana, Emiliano P. Roxas, Daisy Lourdes A. Reuterez, Connie S. Bahia, Niño Ryan A. Losala, Karen S. Salazar, Patricia G. Hernandez, Jeny F. Alamar and SFI staff Joan V. Cabuhat.

One memorable moment to one of the Splash volunteer was Jeny Alamar as she had one of the teacher participants as her former elementary teacher. She said… “It’s payback time.”
And now as the regular classes begin, teachers are seen inside SFI’s Social Development Center applying their learnings through their lesson plans with SFI’s Free Use of Computer.
It’s really fulfilling to see the teacher always interested in learning new things especially with modern technology.
